It's been a long day but soooo good!! Last evening we joined some good friends of Rod's for dinner at the Serena! He said they were Mary, Sachrin, and a friend of Debbie's, Catherine. It was so cool cause when we saw Katherine we couldn't believe that it was a young lady who had been in our home and at our youth group in Chilliwack many times. She is from New Zealand and has lived in Kampala for 10 years. We had a great time of food and chatting it was great to reconnect.

This morning we headed off to the Kitimbwa Child Development Center. A place where young mom's and caregivers bring there 1 - 3 year olds for training, encouragement and teach the word of God and bring hope to these moms! It was very encouraging to hear testimonies of how God has changed their lives and how they are learning to be mothers and take care of their children more effectively!

They made us a traditional meal of matoke, greens, rice, chicken, beef, and casava...I am eating way to much here!

I had my first toilet experience today and had to ask my sweet friend Jolie how to use a hole in the ground for a toilet....interesting!! I did ok!

We visited some very poor homes with lots of children and I got to ride on a boda boda...(border) or motorcycle with 2 other people...fun!! I was in the middle!

Had a banquet with all the pastors this evening ...met several people that we know.

Well it's late...God is so good!!
