Wow we are here in Kampala...so awesome!! Yesterday we had an 8 hour layover in London so we hopped on the Express train and the tube and went down to Westminster Abbey, Trafalger Square, saw Big Ben, the Eye and the Government Buildings...it was a whirlwind visit but now I (Karen) can say that I've been to London...oh yeah...and I loved it ..gotta go back!!

So after an 8 hour flight from London we landed in Entebbe at 7:15 this morning. The flight was great..we slept abit. We got picked up by Christopher our driver for the week from Compassion Canada, a friend for Rod's. He drove us to our hotel in Kampala...this country totally reminds us of Jamaica. When we got to our hotel we slept and showered and then went to lunch with Pastor Fred and another Pastor ( I have to get his name right) at a very nice hotel called the Serena. Pastor Dick and Roxy joined us along with Rick and Debbie Green from Castlerock. We are loving every minute!! Wow...it just started pouring outside, huge black clouds!! We are going out with some other friends of Rod's this evening!
